Donnie Darko Blu Info

Received Donnie 8 days early!

Just to confirm it is region A locked.

It has no additional/deleted scenes as a supplement.

It has both cuts of film on 1 blu ray.

The 2nd bonus disc is a DVD Region 1.

My opinion on the PQ is that it looks OK, not great, when you load up the disc there is a trailer for Mirrors and the first scene is a suburban setting which i thought was DDarko! Haha the proof of average PQ is proven if you watch the quality of the Mirrors trailer and then watch the film, not as good!

Well it's got to be a better transfer than the bloody DVD. That was truly terrible.

Thanks moon panda.

Im glad I wasnt been cynical or not appreciating the Blu format cos as it says in the review 'this isnt demo material'. lol

Dyers Eve 02-03-2009 05:29 PM

Yeah I very well figured that it wasn't going to be demo material, but it does look to be an upgrade of the DVD. So I'll probably pick it up.
