Bourne movies on Blu-Ray?
 

After seeing Ultimatum in the theaters last week I wanted to go watch the original films again, but to no avail. I was pretty surprised there was nothing even listed for them on blu-ray.

They're out on HD DVD...What gives?

Universal is HD-DVD exclusive. That is "what gives".

And to answer the inevitable question that will follow and drag this thread down, Universal has no public plans to announce neutrality anytime soon. Anything you hear regarding Universal is purely speculation, just like (conversely) rumors about Fox or Lionsgate going neutral, etc, etc.

In short, if you want to see them in hd RIGHT NOW, buy an HD-DVD player. That is your only solution. Otherwise, use the upconverting abilities of your player and just buy the dvd's.

That's interesting........ Don't know if it means anything but i'm sure it will fuel some speculation on universal's stance on everything.

Could this be an import? Personally I think this series is you seen one - you seen them all. I saw it in the theater and I though the 2nd one was the best one - 3rd one was too similar to the 2nd one in my opinion.

Universal has worldwide distribution rights. No Blu-rays in other countries either.

Wait about a year and you should be seeing the Bourne series on Blu-ray worldwide.
