The release of 'Independence Day' had me thinking that I'd like to see the 80's TV mini-series 'V' on blu.

OUTLAND

It never even received a 16X9 release on DVD and the letterboxed version is legendarily shitty.

I think it's old school look would be great on Blu.

Anyone said Raiders of the Lost Ark yet? If not they need to. If so, it needs to be said again!

I love how you say "OTHERS are Paramount so I'll wait 1 year". You've already got two Paramount titles in there, and believing that it is "inevitable" that Paramount goes back to Blu-ray is pure fanboy bullcrap. You don't have a clue which movies are owned by which studios, since almost half your list has no imminent hopes of ever making it to Blu-ray.

But the Warner decision might just render that assessment moot.

Oh, and by the way, for you and everyone else clamoring for Saving Private Ryan: it's a Dreamworks film. So until the day comes that Paramount/Dreamworks switches sides, you aren't getting that one on BD either.
Jared. Stay away from Vegas bro.
