I disagree about Reese. Kidman and the others were flawless but Reese was as annoying and artificial as she always is. She's so hammy, she belongs in a 30s film. You know the Oscars don't mean a damn when a better actor like Amy Adams has 5 noms and has yet to win while Reese has one on her first nom.

Did you see Arrival??? She was spectacular in that.

Anyway, as for Big Little Lies. i did not like it. The characters were all too one dimensional and cartoonish. Nothing about it rang true. If not for the cast, I would have stopped watching completely.
