Which BDs of yours were you SO disappointed with that you sold them?

Everyone makes a bad call every now and then. Fortunately, when we do,
there is Ebay. Which BDs have you bought, watched, and then promptly sold?

My list:

-Sleepy Hollow (love the movie, hated the transfer)
-Crank (blind buy, love the transfer, can't stand the movie)
-Tomb Raider (very inconsistent transfer, drove me bananas)
-The Prestige (I know, I know...great transfer, great cast, everyone likes this
movie except me. And something you don't like in HD is still something you don't like.)

How about you guys?

-Perfect Stranger..great transfer, lousy film.
-Aeon Flux..terrible movie, so so transfer.
-Ultraviolet...bad movie, decent transfer.

The first release of Full Metal Jacket. I sold it and got the special edition.

house of flying daggers -- didn't see any real significant jump in PQ, i probably couldn't tell the difference between the BD and an upconverted SD. at least i picked it up from amazon b1g1 around christmas time so it wasn't a complete loss. just sad to see a movie of that kind of cinematic calibur didn't get the top knotch transfer it probably deserved.

I'm a little surprised you not only hated the transfer, but hated it enough to sell the movie. I don't have the BD, but I had the HD-DVD and was pretty pleased with the transfer of the movie. Granted, I had never seen it before I had seen it in HD, but even so.

Speaking of movies that everyone likes but me, my movie was Superbad. Very good transfer, but I don't have the slightest idea what everyone sees in this movie. Absolutely awful, quickly traded it away and won't miss it for a second. No offense if you liked the movie of course, just not my thing.

I sold Bridge to Terabithia. The PQ was spectacular but the film, while not bad, was just too kid-oriented for me. If I had children, I'd have kept it for them.

Here are mine:

Crank
Ultraviolet
Shootem Up (awful movie imo)
House of Flying Daggers

Wow I have a lot of these but the most prevalent ones were:

28 Days Later - AWFUL transfer, gave me a headache to look at
30 Days of Night - Crap movie but good picture
I Know Who Killed Me - Same
Superman 2 - so so bad that my 4 yr old daughter said "this is the funny superman movie right"
Robocop - not a great transfer and the director's cut is slow moving

I was given all 3 Resident Evil movies as a gift. These looked okay but were terrible movies.Bad scripts, bad direction, bad acting.I couldn't wait to unload these turkeys.Had to double check to make sure they were not directed by Uwe Boll.

300. I saw it in theater and was impressed. I bought it and it looked like the digital grain had been amped about 100x. The contrast was pumped up so high it makes the background pulse with bright light.

Also The Simpsons. The picture is fantastic, but its only soso for a movie. I was expecting much more.
