I had the chance to pick this up and didn't. I need it. The package is pretty sweet.

I have to say it's better, in term of animation quality. It just seem like it had a higher budget this time around. Animation are top-notch. As for story-wise, it's up to the person to decide. Now I kinda wish I hadn't seen it on TV first so I could start fresh in full HD. I saw this first then the season one eps. I know, I know...it's dumb on my part. Curse the convenience of TV broadcasting. lol

Wow... I was floored by how much better the animation and colors (including inky blacks) came out on this one. This is a much better effort then Season 1.

However I think I prefer the story line of Season 1. It seemed to focus a lot on how Violence begets more violence and had a lot of more introspective moments.

I thought the sound was even better this time around, considering that the first was in TRUE HD--this one was in standard 5.1.

I'm looking forward to the 3rd installment of the series.

Spoiler
"God" comes back to reclaim the #1 headband. Ron Perlman rules!
