I have all of foxes new blu ray releases and I've watched them with zero issues on my ps3.

could be related to the player issues some are having with certain discs which include the Silver Surfer movie.

Isn't it well established now that the PS3 has virtually no BR faults thus far?

What player are you using? Currently, the LG and some Samsung players are not working with Fox discs, either because of BD+ or BD-J depending on who you believe (I think it's BD+, as it seems like only Fox discs are being affected). LG and Samsumg are supposed to be working on firmware updates to fix the problem, but there's no set timetable (sometime anywhere from this week to a month from now.

Most of the other players, from Sony, Panasonic and others seem to be able to play the Fox discs.

Having the internet connection ON can cause BDs to pause/play every so often.

I've never had any issues once I turned the connection off way back when. :)
