Default Air Force One (Australian release) not too bad!

Watched my friend's copy of Air Force One on blu the other day (Australian version) and the picture looks pretty good. Skin at times seems kind of waxy looking, but otherwise a good upgrade over the DVD (in my opinion anyway).

Wonder if anyone else either picked it up in Australia or imported it, and what do you think of it?

I imported the U.K. blu-ray & have been enjoying it for about a year.

Watched it multiple times. Great transfer & lossless sound!

funny, in the scene where the AWACS is sending the first guy down to AF1 in one shot you can faintly see the wire work rigging! LOL

Its because thats the Buena Vista release, using a better master like their versons of Face/Off and Cinderella Man.

is it just me or does the crash of AF1 look a bit fake: not in term of how real it looks but by the way it crashed and fell apart? It didn't look right but then I've never seen a real crash before.

The effects on that movie were pretty atrocious, for some reason. It looks animated.

The green/blue screen stuff was really poor like the edges of AF1's port hole windows were blurry and the fighter plane's cockpit's were bit off since it's mostly glass it looks like it disappears.
