Default Forthcoming Dario Argento Blu-rays from Arrow Films (UK)

Oh yes, and another Argento masterpiece gets a UK release. Courtesy of Arrow, this is his 1975 classic with musician David Hemmings tracking down a particularly nasty serial killer. Coupled with a superb Goblin soundtrack, this for me will be one of the high points of this year's releases.

Spectacular list of extras too:
4 Sleeve art options with original and newly commissioned art work
Double sided fold out poster
World Exclusive booklet with brand new writing
2 Dario Argento Interviews
Documentary Dario Argento: An Eye for Horror
The Complete Dario Argento Trailer Reel (18 films)

Just can't wait for this one:

Movies are so rarely great art that if we cannot appreciate great trash
we have very little reason to be interested in them.

And some more breaking news (unconfirmed), Arrow are apparently also releasing Phenomena and Cat O'Nine Tails on on 30th August:

Are we about to enter Argento heaven here?

Lovely! This only keeps getting better. Now, I need to hurry on my 'Suspiria' review, so I can also cover its sequel.

Arrow has done a fairly good job with other releases and expect these titles to look fabulous.

I look forward to your Suspiria review. In the meantime, I would expect these discs to be region free as they are from Arrow which will be great news for all the US Argento fans unable to pick up Suspiria on earlier this year because it was Region B locked.

Not only is it going to the month of the Argento invasion, but August is going to be a highly expensive month as well.
