Default Cleaning a high def player

I have the Toshiba HD-A2 & Samsung BD-P1200 players.

How do I clean them?

Will a regular DVD lense cleaner work?

I've also put this on the HD HW forum.

Thank you.

It is not a good idea to clean them at all. Internaly anyway. Those cleaner disks scratch up and/or bump the laser. They are just a bad idea. I have never had a player need to be cleaned and I have one that is 10 years old.

Thank you Maxx 75.

I always cleaned my dvd player and assumed it was the right thing to do.

I guess it's all a money making scam.
