Default Panasonic DMP-BD10 Firmware v2.1

Panasonic has released a firmware upgrade for their DMP-BD10 and DMP-BD10a Blu-ray disc player. This update is to fix "playability and stability" issues, though owners are having a difficult time trying to figure out what those issues might have been. Regardless, if you are fortunate enough to own this rock-solid player, an update is now available on their website.

Interesting that this comes out shortly after the 1.8 update for the PS3. Maybe there might be some neat surprises in this one.

I just got the 10a. I updated the firmware - but I'm still having a problem - Fellowship of the Ring EE DVD isn't recognized. Its the only one. None of the 4 discs in that set will play. Those were the only ones...

I'm borrowing another copy over the weekend to see if its just my copy.
