Is analog out only 5.1? I thought it was going to be 7.1?

Also the $64,000 question is.........Does the 50 have the LFE issue that the 30 and 10 before it did?

If the player will support firmware updates and internet content via the new ethernet port. This may finally move me from the slowly dying HD-DVD to the blu-ray side.

I want one....Might just get the 30 if it drops enough when the 50 comes out though. Not much of a profile guy, my samsung works good but I heard the panny's have far less issues.

Everything I have read so far said this player would have 7.1 analog outs. I looked at the specs on the Panasonic website and sure enough - it states 5.1 analog outs. That SUCKS! Hopefully its only a typo... Please be a typo....
