Default Denon DVD-2500BTCI

I just replaced my Panasonic BD30 with this player. Better in every respect on Bluray discs. Video and sound are both better. It has the quietest drawer and drive mechanism I have ever encountered (CD transports included).

Believe it or not, they had it in the Magnolia Home Theater at my local Best Buy (in US). Retail is $999, but I had Reward Zone certificates.....

well for $1000 it certainly should be "da shit".
It was supposed to come out at $2000 I thought.

They are also coming out with a full blown Bluray/DVD player with the Realta chipset for $2000. This is a digital only transport (1 HDMI out, no component video, no digital coax, no toslink. Designed to be a Bluray transport only.

I remember seeing sometime in March. But I think the official response from Denon is sometime this spring.

I'm using a Denon 3808ci receiver, but I'm using it as a preamp/processor for my Outlaw 750 amp.

The 3800 BD player from Denon is out now.

What is the start up time of the player and on discs for the 2500?

How long does it take from you push the eject button to the disc tray comes out?
