Default Can anybody recommend a reliable 1.0 player??

Very frustrated with my BD-P1200. Just want a player that can, at least, PLAY all the new releases. Dont really care about the pip( I have a PS3 for that if I want to use that feature or other features that are 1.1 specific). So...anybody have any recommendations?? Thanks to all responses.

The Sharp works great. It internally decodes TruHD, firmware upgrades are done using a jump drive, has quick boot, and has not run into any problems playing the latest discs (Sunshine, Resident Evil 3, Die Hard 4, etc.)

<~ I have the Sony BDPS300 and haven't had a bit of trouble playing any disc so far.

Just be sure to upgrade the firmware to 3.70.

I have a PS3 and a Sony BDPS1, and can absolutely recommend the latter for your needs! I personally bought the BDPS1 for the stability and audio quality and it's never disappointed. If you can find it, the BDPS1 retails for about $400 now and is absolutely solid. Other than load times, it's never failed me. It is the EXACT SAME build quality of Sony's BDPS2000ES without DTS HD decoding (1299.99 retail). Sony's first BD player will be their most reliable. It's all cheap and downhill from here! Never had a disc that wouldn't play!

Panny BD10A?

Thats what my research led me to. Seemed one of the most reliable. Am I wrong?
