Default Is there a difference between Samsung BD-P1400 and Samsung BD-P1400/x??

Hi guys,

Is there a difference between the two models listed in the topic title. I hope that both models can send the high res audio via a bitstream.

Thanks for any and all feedback.

I wonder if X is a place holder as Samsung site lists a P1400, P1400N, and P1400C. Someone over at AVS stated the 1400C was just the Costco model. Not sure about the N version.

i bought mine at best buy and i noticed the x on the model number on the back of my player. i called samsung they said there is absoulutely no difference.
that the letter has something to do with what retailer the player was shipped to. sort of a stop gap so people cant try to return a player to a store other than the one they bought it at.

Yeah it's a Best Buy thing. Was listed as 1400/X, and when I got it, its just the plain old BD-P1400.
