lol no i definitly didn't pay for it. I'm a software engineer at a game company. Currently working on a 360 / ps3 game. Finally got me the ps3 dev kit had the 360 dev kit for a while. Pretty much building it for the ground up on the 360 and as we go attempting to get it running on the ps3. I think that's how most 3rd parties are going to be doing it.

That seems to be what they're doing, but it seems to be somewhat averse to the PS3 title. It seems as if you have to built both games from the ground up separately to maximize each system's benefits.

What Language are your writing the games in?
What game engine are you using for your games are you starting fresh with your own.

Actually you should be careful - I saw something that developers for PS3 games are not suppose to discuss this information with others.

I do development on Windows and got my 360 to try out XNA development - but don't desired to pay yearly month charge for development on one. I don't do professional game develpment - only in business applications.

I agree with this - likely like some of first generation games that only use the Power PC processor part of the Cell engine. It would be better to learn and take advantage of the SPE which is supposely by IBM where the true power of the Cell processor.

Our studio has our own game engine and we code in c++. None of this is really insider info as it's already come out in news articles in the past :P

Is the PS3 version of the game taking advantage of the SPE's. I believe a lot of cross development stuff doesn't take advantage of the SPE's. Except for possibility of the ones using UNREAL engine.
