Default Very Conufused! Need someone to help me pick out a good player please!

Okay so I want to get a blu-ray player. All I want to do is watch hi def blu ray movies on my hdtv. My tv is only 1080i and it says hdmi on the back but theres no room to plug it under where it says it. I can plug where it says HD 1

So which specific blu ray player do you recomend from my info?
Which cables do I need component or hdmi cables?
Do both cables show the same quality?
Are they sold seperatly? and r audio cables sold seperatly?

thanx

you need to first tell us what model your tv is. I am totally confused on what HD 1 is...is that HDMI? DVI? Component?

Knowing what your budget is will help make a decision. Also will you be using receiver for audio? If you answer yes to that does your receiver have hdmi in or would you be relying on analog inputs in order to benefit from lossless audio tracks.
