Amen to that. I wouldn't mind them adding the ability to adjust the subwoofer crossover frequency either. I don't think it would be wise to hold my breath for either, though.

Me too, I upgraded from 1.1 to 2.2, couldn't wait any longer! Now I am going to upgrade to 2.3 anyway, it may give some improvements.

Well, it seems 2.3 still doesn't fix the Lord of the Rings: Extended Edition playback issue. That really is pretty annoying.

Anyone else think that this update made the upscaling look a lot better? I can't do a side-by-side comparison, obviously, but the past few DVDs I've watched have looked really good, much better than I remember before.

Unfortunatly I cannot help, I only get 480p when watching DVDs. My TV is connected to the player via component so I don't get upscaling as it lacks HDMI connections.

man i can't wait till panasonic has ethernet port added in their updates. i could care lets about dts anyways... i like dolby.
