Default 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray players should be listed in this part of the forum

Since 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray players will most likely be priced below $100 within a year or two, it would be ideal if this forum was used for the new Blu-ray players. When 3-D Blu-ray players came out in 2010, a separate forum was not created for the 3-D players, only the 3-D movies received a separate forum. 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray players can be connected to consumers old flat panel displays and projectors with old HDMI inputs. When playing native 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray discs the 4K Blu-ray player can downscale the resolution to 1080P,1080i, 720P, 480P, and 480i and give a higher bit rate HEVC picture quality improvement when compared to 1080P discs.

No, 4K players should be listed in the Ultra HD Blu-Ray Hardware discussion forum. Why would you list them in the regular BD Hardware forum?

The reason is because the 4K players can be connected to anyone's TV's and listing them in another area of the forum causes the product to be listed as a niche product. Back in 2010 a separate forum was not created for the Blu-ray 3-D players, they were also listed in this forum.

The players also play dvds and cds. Should we move them to a dvd or cd subforum?

Let's just move UHD Blu-Ray players directly to the graveyard, because that's where they are headed.
