Default Samsung BD-P1000 Price Drop

A nice little late Christmas present from Samsung:

http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/sh...ayer_Price/410

Perhaps not a huge discount, but $100 is still $100 bucks. And at $569 now at Amazon, its pretty dang competitive.

Is the HDMI noise still an issue or has that been rectified via firmware updates?

If that issue is still there, I just can't see dropping $500+ on that player.

Maybe they are pre-empting the rumoured price drop by Toshiba?

Samsung are going to release a new model.

More features and 20% less

Good news. Let's just hope they iron out a lot of the bugs that plagued the first gen model.

Maybe the owners of the First gen should ask if they can swap for a new model
