This so indicative. I put this same poll in the HD DVD forum and get dozens of responses in a few hours. None here.

Again, it just seems that HD DVD owners are just more enthusiastic and active in their chosen format...

this forum is mostly HD-DVD camp so thats why it comes off that way.

Had to vote PS3.

Half the cost
Format war swings the other way, you at least have a game system
dts-HD (not 100% sure)
HDMI 1.3 (not 100% sure)

PS3 made total sense to me from day one. Now that it is in my family room, it makes even more sense. Not only has it performed flawlessly, but it is close to setting the benchmak for what Blu-ray pricing and quality should be across the board.

I am hopeful that in the upcoming year we can see Blu-ray players match the PS3 for quality while matching the HD DVD players in price.

I have two PlayStation 3s in my apartment. One I am still hoping to sell for $800.00 or more. I am hoping that PS3s become VERY rare in January and February of this year so that I can get my profiteering on!
