Default Require Assistance with Audio Settings

So I'm positive this is a very common problem. I have a Sony BDP-S380 Blu-ray player connected to a Westinghouse LD-4680 TV with a HDMI cable.

When playing blu-ray movies I get a popping sound once in a while. I figured it's from the player trying to push surround sound into the tv speakers. I can't seem to get rid of the sound no matter what settings I change.

Here are the settings I currently have on.

Audio Output: HDMI
DSD Output: Off
BD Audio Mix: On
Dolby Digital: Set to DD (as opposed to Downmix PCM which I also tried but didn't help)
DTS: On (Other Choice is Downmix PCM)
DTS Neo 6: Off
Audio DRC: Auto (It says its a sound effect so i dont think its affecting the actual audio)
Downmix: set to Stereo (as opposed to surround)

As I said before I think the problem is the DTS MA output being shuttled into the TV but i can't fix it.

If more info is needed please let me know. And if this is the wrong area of the forum to post this then sorry haha.
