Default Iron Man 2 problem on Panasonic DMP BD65

I tried playing my brother's and mine BD of Iron Man 2 and it seems like it's get stuck in a boot loop and reloads like if I just inserted the disc. Anyone else have this issue on their DMP BD65?

I'm on firmware 1.52

I am having the exact same problem with the BD65. I have called Panasonic, and they have opened a case. They say a firmware fix may be necessary. The thing that is odd to me is that this movie has been out since September - you would think that any issues would have already been resolved.

Ya, I got an email from Panasonic and they said I should put in a memory card bigger than 1GB. I told them I upgraded to firmware 1.56 and that I have a 2GB SD card that I even reformatted through the player. Still no dice. All I'm gonna say is, HD DVD would've never had this problem...

Yeah, I got the same e-mail (I originally submitted my help request through their website). I would recommend calling them - they will give you a case number, and the more people that complain, the better the chances of them fixing the problem. I am surprised more people have not had this problem - I have found a few other postings on-line, but not nearly as many as I had expected.

The Panasonic Rep I emailed is saying to send my player in for another one. Hopefully a new one will do the trick.

Are they sending you a different model, or do they think you just have a bad BD65? I'm very curious to see how this turns out for you - I may have to call them again. Good luck!

No, they said they'll send me a "reconditioned" model, assuming of another BD65. I'm gonna try loading IM 2 again and see if it was just a glitch in the Matrix that day.

Funny happened. I popped in IM2 and guess what, I'm watching it! I wonder what the heck was wrong to not make it load up correctly? I'm gonna watch tomorrow night or reload it again later.

Is it playing on your original player or the replacement? If it's the original, I'll have to try mine out when I get home.

Could it be a BD live issue?
