Default No slip case for Wall-E, WHY??

Does anyone know why Wall-E does not include a slip case? Both Cars and Ratatouille have them, as does all of Pixar's DVDs except Wall-E. I hate having a particular movie series and then they decide not to follow the same format the previous ones had.

Disney will include slip covers only the 3-disc versions of future releases, if it is an option.

I love when movies have slip covers. It's so much fun throwing them away!

The Hulk and Casino Royale slip covers were pretty good, nice to see them use some creativity when using them. The Ironman one was Ok, just shinny. The Hulk had that Hologram on it and the Casino Royale used a smooth suede type of material to make the cover.

I really hate slipcovers. I'm not one of those guys who is really into the environment or anything but even I think that slipcovers are a big fat waste of trees. It's just the same front and back cover! What's the point?
I almost always throw them out. The only exception so far for me is Iron Man, which actually has different artwork on the slipcover.

There are tree farms. They are grown to be "wasted".

I like Slip Covers. It makes for nice packaging...I <3 packaging.

I cant really say I care for the cover, but it seems there is a ton of new movies being released with them. From the of my head ill name the recent summer movies:

Wall - E
Hulk
Ironman
TDK

Probably more that im forgetting..

i actually think that slipcovers are meant to be an added security measure for titles that might be "high risk". still, in the end, they just get in the way when you want to watch something really badly.
