Sure - if you have analog inputs, but they won't help you in HDMI switching.

So what you're highlighting is that to switch to the BD (specifically) would require two commands, one to switch the video to the correct HDMI connection and one to switch the audio to the 7.1 channel analog inputs?

Vizio has announced two 3D BD players:

Models VBR333 and VBR334 feature built-in Wi-Fi connectivity and a host of apps services, including Netflix, Vudu, Pandora and others.

They are MSRP'd at $189 each. No idea what the difference between the wto models

I find my PS3 to work fantastic thus far, though I watch 3D with headphones, so later on if I find myself looking for a surround sound system one of these players may just be the ticket.
