Default Black Friday

I bought an HDTV at the end of October as a birthday present to myself. I already play my video games in high definition, so I decided my next step was movies. I had checked bfads.net to see any deals for Black Friday when I came across an HD DVD player on sale for $169.99. I was definately going to get it.

It is now early Black Friday morning and me and my friend head over to Sear's and we are the first ones there, at 2:30 am. Once the doors opened, I rushed upstairs to electronics, and found 3 players on the shelf. I was very excited to find out that I was getting 300 and The Bourne Identity for free. I grabbed a player and paid for it.

I was never a movie person before. I rarely went to the theater and rarely watched movies on tv, but that all changed. I love movies now and I love HD DVD. I am constantly buying HD DVDs when I go to the stores. I fully support HD DVD. I may give Blu Ray a chance in the future, when prices on players go down, since there are only a few movies on Blu Ray that I want to watch that I can't get on HD DVD.
