Default Finally decided to turn purple today! :)

After of months of saying that I will never support HD-DVD, today I finally gave in. Yeah the girlfriend put pressure on me to do it but I figured I love movies so why not have the best of both worlds. I picked up the 360 add on with Knocked Up and Transformers.

I still support blu ray and I am sure most of the movies I buy will be on blu, but now I am just happy to have every available option to me.

Now I am looking forward to picking up the Bourne series when that comes out.

Welcome, went purple back in June and enjoying all that high def has to offer . To me both are the same when comes to quality though I do prefer one side over the other. I dont regret it, I just love watching movies.

Maybe this time next year if the 'war' is still going on I will go dual format. Right now I'm happy with the HD DVDs on offer and the ones I have.

I just went purple this past Tuesday too.

I bought the HD add on player for the xbox 360. I got Heroes Season 1, Transformers, and Batman Begins all for free. Plus King Kong also comes with the player. That deal was just to hard to pass up. And I can still get the five free hd-dvds offer but none of those titles on the list really interest me.

I also bought Top Gun hd-dvd for 13.50 Best Buy matched Frys online price for me.

As one can see in my "new" signature I am definitely going purple when PS3 40 gig comes out. I'll use it exclusively as a blu-ray player and not a game system. Looking forward to Spiderman 3 even though I felt it was the weakest of the 3.

I absolutely can't wait for some of Anchor Bay releases (Starz) on Blu-ray but, hopefully br can impress me as much as HD DVD has .

I really excited that Warner Bros. & smaller companies like BCI are going to be releasing more "classic" & "cult" movies because those films were/are very popular on standard DVD. I won't cut out buying SD DVD entirerly but, now at least I can get non-HD DVD new releases in my favorite high definition can't.......wait........
til it comes out.

Went Purple last week.

A HD-A3 with 9-10 Freebies for $99 from Best Buy is something I couldn't refuse

I have an HD-A20 and a PS3 but leaned red because the extras did count. Bye Bye HD, you gave it your best, that's all we could ask. Sony, finish your damn product already!

The Numbers: 900+ DVDs (rapidly declining), 34 HD-DVDs (+1 on order, + 5 free), 17 BDs (+2 on order). Last movie: Close Encounters.

If BR were a lot cheaper I'd get one. I'd love to get the Spider-man trilogy & others. Also, the bogo deal going on now is great

I already have to pee.

Actually, I'm going to Best Buy in a few minutes to pick this up. I bought 2 HD-A2's for the $99 online but never got the free movies. Best Buy online hooked me up with 4 free movies for pick up in the store.
