I went HD-DVD. Why? Because it's cheap and can do most of the things that blu-ray cannot do. And it is the same thing as blu-ray, except for a few minor differences. Mark my words, HD-DVD will win this war. It is not over yet. Warner shows that two format can co-exist.

I already knew hd-dvd and blu-ray are essentially the same thing, it was just a matter of how much I wanted to spend on hardware... and since I already own a n xbox 360 the choice was simple.... $180 player with a no-sales tax weekend and 5 free movies.... done deal! even if the format dies and something else takes over I will have some of my favorite movies of all time in 1080P because thats all I can afford to buy are my favorites ; )
Oh, and I hate sony products... I liked the ps1... hated the ps2, hated psp, and I continue to hate the ps3... sony hardware & technology is over rated and they just try to force their ideas and stuff on the consumers as gold |
