Default I Caved In

I picked up a LG BH200 Super Blu Blu-Ray HD DVD Combo Player. I have heard good things from it as for it's ability to play HD Dvd , it can be upgraded to blu 2.0 and can be hacked to play any region. My heart will always be with HD Dvd, but i am running out of flicks i want to buy and sad to say blu is the only option. I ended up buying it now as it is the last of the combo players and has the best rating. Am i right?

How much was it?

You could have got a 1.3b compliant HDMI switch at Monoprice for about 45 bux including shipping and bought a PS3/Panny/Mag/etc

boo hoo you get a product that has more space and faster bitrate, boy do I feel sorry for you having to put up with it... what ever will you do? here's an idea how about you look at Blu-ray as an upgrade from 30GB of space per disc to 50GB per disc, and for bitrate going from 30.24 Mbit/s to 48.0 Mbit/s. and Profile 2.0 gives you PiP and web functionality just like HD DVD did so stop your whining, it would have been more painful for Blu-ray supporters because then we would have not only lost the format war but we'd also have to deal with a format that offered less. you lost the format war and got an upgrade be happy.

Moved here, as this is the best place.

How exactly did you "cave"? With owning a PS3 you already had and if you didn't already have , this is the wrong forum.
