Default Future shines Blu

I didn't get my PS3 til early 2007, about 4 or so months after launch, when I did I only picked up one Blu, American Psycho... around that time I wasn't addicted at all to Hi-Def stuff, and didn't know much about it.. so when I saw it, it didn't have much impact on me, I wasn't blown away by the PQ, keep in mind I didn't have an HDMI cable, or didn't have any of my settings tweaked. So anyways, I decided to focus primarily on games only. So some months pass and I decide to try Blu again, around September or so... this time picking up Crank and The Descent... I was totally blown away and satisfied with the gorgeous PQ/AQ, at that moment I was sold! At around October when 4 essential (for me) titles (Halloween, Dawn of the dead, Day of the dead, Evil Dead) came out that boosted my confidence in Blu, after that I started buyin a lil bit more every month..

I didn't get into HD DVD til January of 2008, I bought the 360 addon and received 20 titles (gift from boyfriend hehe) and was thinking it was pretty damn sweet! All the movies I got weren't on Blu, so that's why I decided to try out HD, I was feelin kinda comfy with it.

By Febuary it was all over... done... history...

March : I too decided to abandon HD DVD, but (i guess you can say) paying my respects by buyin an A3 for $100... I was thinkin of pickin up some movies, but I wasn't gonna pay $15, 18 etc for a dead format, and my BB didn't have a blowout sell for 9.99. So that was the end of me buying any HD movies

April : I bought 8 Blu's, the most I've bought in a while and from that point on, also taking advantage of the nice sales, 19.99 etc... I have been a total Blu-ray devotee and will remain so!

Nothing in life is ever certain, and we live in a topsy-turvy world. Much the same can be said for the technology of today, as new products come and go. There's a limited life cycle, much like our own mortality. That's why we should live each day from moment to moment, and be happy with what have, as opposed to what we don't have.

Welcome to the seas of madness, thankfully the sky has cleared, and there's a piece of land in sight. Until the next voyage, enjoy your high-definition media of today! Ho-har-tee-harghh...

A bit of humor. That said, I'm a weirdo and you have a pair of legs for an avatar? Now that is truly funny.

Nah, in all seriousness my days of drugs and debauchery have been over for a while now. That said, those days certainly were interesting and fun. In regards to the "flaunt it" comment, yes, I would agree with you in the real world. That said, the internet is a really goofy environment for that sort of thing.

Sayonara...
