Default im bored so here's how things went for me

there was once a time when i cared not for high def formats... i was happy with DVD

one thing that i did care about was video games... i'm a gamer and to some extent a collector of games/systems and my answer to "which system should i get" is always "all of them"

at the end of March 2007 I'm at wal-mart looking at games and decide i want to buy an xbox 360... my mom tells me to wait until the sunday ads to see if anyone has a special deal... wait a couple days and Sunday April 1st the wal-mart ad has a free $50 gift card with purchase of system... $50 would nearly cover one game combine that with my 10% discount and things look even better

skip ahead a few months to august... 5 free movie deal catches my eye and i had the money (and as we already established i already had the 360) for the 360 add-on... since all other players at the time were more expensive it was the best deal i called many places and only one wal-mart had it at the $200 price (it had just dropped in price to $180 at the time) circuit city had them for $180 so even after discount it would be the same price... and the wal-mart that had it was not as close as the circuit city...

so at this point i was red with intention of going purple eventually... (remember... gamer... PS3) as time went on my love of the red side grew never went to full fanboy mode though

skip ahead to jan.

WARNER ANNOUNCEMENT
having joined the red army this hurt... but i still waved the red flag and even made this image...

skip ahead a few weeks to jan 29th
tax refund... i buy a ps3 and some movies (couple games too)

skip ahead a few days
BLURAY PULLS ZERG RUSH ON RED ARMY
ouch...

skip ahead a couple days
RED ARMY SURRENDERS
ok...ok... i get the point... but i'm keeping my discs

there you have it...
