Default Any legal recourse for HD owners?

With HD going under and quick, Toshiba stills pushes their HD players. Will unknowing HD owners have any recourse against a company that knew the format would no longer be supported within mere months?

No because they players will still work with all HD DVD discs as advertised and they are terrific upconverting players for people who have large DVD collections.
