Bought a PS3 on Monday

Bought the 40gig and it's an awesome machine! Only have one movie for it so far (SM3 that came free with it). I am in the process of getting my list together for a one day buy assault.

Just buying the exclusives though. HD is still going to be my preferred choice.

Here's an idea...you've got both, how about preferring neither? Buy what's cheapest. Take advantage of both side's BOGO deals. The encodes for pretty much every cross-format movie are identical...

I just have to wonder if you're watching any of these movies, man? I'm only asking because I see a stack of still-unopened HD DVDs sitting right behind all of the new BR discs that you just bought? It's cool to be a collector of films and all, but when do you find time for all of these? Of course, I'm sure that you, like me, have already seen many of the films that you own in one format or another, so therefore those movies aren't as high of a priority to watch on a newer format, correct? Well, enjoy!

Yeah, it's a nick name my buddies at work call me and thought it would make a decent username.

I have watched most of those on regular dvd. There are some blind buys, but not many. I am on holidays after next week, so I have some watching to catch up on.

Over 80% of those have been watched a few times and liked them enough to buy them again. These are the type of flicks that I enjoy, even if they aren't exactly Oscar worthy.

I have it on HD DVD (Bought it before the Warner announcement). If it would have come out after December, I would have bought it Blu.

Yes love Wuxia. Well "Kung Fu Hustle" is just a Martial Arts Comedy but the other two are Wuxia.
Oh btw there's also an Anime Sony released which is called "Tekkon Kinkreet".
