Im blu! okay, fine then, im purple

why did i choose red in the first place? well, when the 360 add-on came out, i judged it was the only reasonable player, hd-dvd had a year advance on blu-ray, and the upgrade from dvd to hd-dvd seemed the natural hd upgrade.

well, a year has gone and it just got too frustrating to see that every time i walked in a wal-mart, hmv and future shop, blu is clearly dominant in choise and quantity. But my real frustration was that most new blockbuster releases are blu or on both formats (die hard 4, pirates 3, spider-man 3, resident evil 3, ratatouille, fantastic four 2, surf's up and im not mentioning other ''smaller'' movies) true, we did get transformers (which i bought) and shrek 3, but thats it, that it!?

then the PS3 became the cheapest player, and, well, it comes with 6 movies! so, im paying a little over 200 for a player and a gaming machine, thats a friggin deal if u ask me. now i have access to all movies

I am with you on this one. I was red at first, but then all these great flicks started coming out on Blu Ray... I always intended to be a blu ray supporter, but my impulse made me go with Red first since it was cheap and I fell into a bit of a financial situation with medical bills. Christmas is here, and what did I end up getting from my family? A sony stand alone Blu ray player. So It's good to be purple, not having to worry wether what certain movies are coming out on what specific format.

i am now purple as well. Had to jump on the PS3 40gb with spider-man 3 and $25 off of rock band through amazon's 10 days of videogame deals. I figure I dont play video games that much anymore, so i sold my 360 and got a ps3 and rockband (the only game i really play are the guitar games). So now i'm purple

Same only I got a free $60 game of my choice with my 40gb which was the I'm finally doin it pushing point
