Question I Want Blu Ray Titles

Heres the story. I originally bought a XBOX 360. I then got the HD DVD Add On. Which by the way I love for viewing HD DVD movies. But up until now I didn't want to buy a blu ray player because of their price. And now there are titles I want that are exclusively on Blu Ray. I want Disney movies and some other soon to be released titles. I now want to buy a PS3 40gig for watching movies only. I paid more for my XBOX 360 Elite console. Am I crazy for wanting a PS3 only for movies? Everyone here in the house seems to think so. I love watching movies and now even more in HD. I don't care for the format war. I just want to watch movies I like in HD. I haven't done alot of research on the PS3. But is it a good machine for blu ray viewing? Any pros/cons? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

PS3 is best player in market for Blu-ray. It have faster load time than standalone player on some java BD, like POTC, etc. I own it since May 5th 2007.

For me the PS3 was the best choice since it comes with WiFi and I didn't want to run an ethernet cable to my TV set. Also knowing it could be updated to profile 1.1 swung the deal for me.

I wouldn't let the other house member's opinions on the PS3 bother you. It's a fantastic media center and will soon have official divx support for all your em... home movies that you've got stored in divx.
    Sony Bravia 40", PS3 60Gb, 21 blu-ray titles, XBox 360 (for gaming only)
