I went Blu err bought a Samsung BD player just before the PS3 launch. There were just too many exclusive titles out I couldn't resist. I was quite impressed with my first BD viewing. Sound was just awesome & the picture didn't look as bad as I had read. I almost gave up on Blu-Ray because my first sammy died, than the second one glitched, than the third. Was gonna shell out $1300 for the Sony BDP-S1, but it hadn't been released yet in Canada so I went & got a PS3. So far so good, 198/200 titles watched & 0 glitches.

Sounds like you had as much fun with the Sammy's as I did with the Toshiba HD-A1's. Both of us ended up with a PS3 free from glitches. Best electronic purchase I've ever made.
