Hello all. I originally bought the 500$ toshiba player from my local BB. I hooked it up and was very dissapointed with load times. It was like booting a computer. I returned that player and picked up the Xbox 360 drive. It booted quick and the movies looked and played great. However it soon became apparent to me that the majority of the new releases and most of the must have movies (for me) are/were going to be Blu Ray exclusive. So I sold my addon drive and movies on Ebay and began looking for a 20gig PS3.
Picked up the PS3 and the remote and began collecting movies. I found the Blu Ray tier guide here after buying Stargate. Oh well. My PS3 is hooked up to my 57" Mitsubishi at 1080p and I love it. 35 Bluray movies and counting. Now if Fox would get off the pot and start releasing movies, and Universal & Warner go format neutral, I could once again see V for Vendetta and Batman Begins in Hi Def!!!! |

welcome to the club, and darn tootin re: studios.
warner is technically neutral (they -have- released some BD titles) but you wouldn't be able to tell from the movies they haven't released, huh?
