Default I still have both; but my heart is with Blu Ray

That's why I changed my mind from being a fan of both to being a fan of only Blu Ray.

50 GIG not 30. I think this is big thing for the future. I want the best quality for my movies. I read something about a 51 GIG HD disc. But it is not here yet. Sony has it already.

Blu Ray discs are more scratch resistant. I got two loose Blu Ray discs from Amazon and non of them where scratched. I had three loose HD DVDs and two of them I had to return because of scratches and skipping. I am really taking good care of my discs. I even wash my hands before handling my discs.

Picture Quality; I have both and the PQ of my two Blu Ray player are a lot better than of my HD player.

Universal Video was the reason why I bought a HD player in the first place. But the quality of there last releases are bad. My unconverted SD DVDs look better. Admire Sony for the exchange program of the "5th Element". Way to go!

Toshiba takes forever to send me the five mail in HD DVDs. I have been waiting for about Fifteen weeks now. And every time I call Toshiba, they tell me I will get it in about three weeks. I started calling at week nine. I am not sure if I ever get it. Not a big reason but still.

Blu Ray has more movies. Maybe not in numbers but in variety. I don't care what people say but Blu Ray has the better Blockbusters. Matrix is also coming to Blu Ray soon.

I don't like the statement HD player are cheaper. Yes they are, but you can see it on the quality of the player. I have a A-2 and a PS3 and a S300; and I have to say that Sony won that game in my mind. The HD player seems cheap compare to Sony player and the PS3.

I was a fan of both formats in the beginning. But after four month of having both, Blu Ray won in my eyes the format war. I will still use my HD player for the HD DVDs I have and as a upconvert DVD player. But I won't spent any money on HD DVDs anymore. I think I can wait for the few Universal discs I want to come out on Blu Ray. I am sure it will happen soon. A friend of mine works for a studio who does Blu Ray and HD and they getting ready for more Blu Ray releases than HD. I don't know if this is a rumor but this is what my friend told me.I promised not to tell which studio, but it is one of the major ones.

I don't want attack the HD DVD fans. Don't forget I have a HD player. This is just my opinion after having both for over four month.
