Never announced it but...
I picked up a PS3 about a month ago to compliment my 360 w/ add-on.
I am now format neutral... kind of. I actually have started buying BDs over HD DVDs for two reasons: 1) My PS3 has HDMI out vs. a choice between my 360s component or VGA cables (which wash colors) 2) No stupid combo / dual sided discs. Past that, I really can't see any super amazing difference between the two formats past a small difference in sharpness and hue due to the different cables. The disc preference is almost solely based on WB HD DVD combo discs.

congratulations. also, you've got to enjoy the better scratch protection on Blu-ray.
