Blade, before Danny Elfman made it big in Hollywood, he had a band called Oingo Boingo. This is for you:

I don't judge very often.

I'm not against homosexuals but transsexuality is something else.
It's just totally against mother nature. Besides, some surgeons do it in such a perfection you couldn't see a difference between a "made" woman and a born one.

There was a dating show on British television some years ago. All participants sued the channel afterwards, because the "all so sexy and seducing latino girl" proved to be a transsexual.

If I want to kiss a girl, I want to kiss a real girl not a boy that looks like a girl.

Most people say Homosexuals are against mother nature as well. There's no difference between someone who is born a woman and someone who is transsexual and has become a woman.
What happened to loving the person? Someone who has become a woman has no penis and estrogen running through their system. Regardless of what YOU think, she is legally and biologically a woman.

And on that show, i believe the Transsexual was pre-op and not post-op. Understandably, the guys were set up for that but there was a similar "set-up" reality show on where the gay guy had to figure out which of his potential suitors were gay or straight. It's reality TV...do you expect something normal?
Clearly you're just terrified of falling in love with someone who was born a boy or are terrified of your attraction to some of these men turned women. Otherwise, you wouldn't feel the need to be so strongly against it.
What do you care if she was born a girl? As long as they're up-front about it, that's all that matters.

And I'm so happy that you don't judge often. Clearly that means you're given free reign to do it on those rare occasions when you feel like it.

Biologically a woman?

No. Lack of a penis and low levels of estrogen don't make a woman, dude.

Retry.

Yup, until surgeons can change chromosomes, they're only modifying physical appearance. Biologically, they're neutering their clients. "Sex-change" is a misnomer, hence why surgeons refer to it as "sexual reasignment."

@DigitalFreakNYC

You're right lad.

'Tis my initial fear. It's my goddamn right to know of someone's sex, serious illnesses (e.g. aids), etc.

If things go on as they are now, be all prepared to ask for someone's ID, blood examples and a full body examination before you marry.

Digitalfreak, you've judged others on this board before so let's not pretend one is all high and mighty. I remember you judging the dancing on the credit roll of Slumdog Millionaire as stupid when it is a cultural thing for India.

That "As long as they're up-front about it" portion is HUGE... how many stories have we heard where a person only finds out at a later time? People have a right to know. It is fraudulent to hide that. If they want to go through the op, I won't judge that, but don't lie to people about it...

And yes it does matter. A guy could want children and it wouldn't be possible now would it? It is therefore not a biological change. It is a surgical change. The cover on the book is now different but the contents remain.

I have nothing against homosexuals. I accept them 100%, but this isn't the same scenario. People lie about it and it's wrong, just as is lying about an affair, being a convicted serial killer or carrying an STD. Surely you can understand that.

A perfect example is in this story:

The Murder of a Boy Named Gwen

Where a "girl" fooled some stupid guys into thinking "she" was a "woman." It didn't end happily. She partied with them over a period of time, fucked a few of them anally (because she was on her period), and then they got a hunch "she" was a he and killed her. I certainly don't condone their actions, but shit....

Loving someone on false pretenses always ends badly. If you can't trust them, you can't love them.

I can give two figs about Transsexuals, Homosexuality, Race, Nationality (though I like to tease), and so forth. The point is, a lie is a lie. Some are larger than others, but when it comes to love, that lie can be a BIG one. It tears people apart. Don't lie about it. Be honest.

It's like when a married couple finds out that one of their spouses is really gay. It's not that he/she is a homosexual that is the "problem". It's the fact the person is wasting the other's time. They screwed them over. Yes, partly the reasoning is that their gay...but it wouldn't have been if they didn't waste the other's time, and instead, were honest with themselves, and those around them.

I know, I know...it's hard for people. However, it's harder to go through life living a lie. At least, I would think so.

Asinine. So...they shouldn't have killed her but maybe beat the shit out of her?
Guys always use this excuse that they didn't know she was a woman. You want to know how many of them were probably curious and then freaked out when they came to realize what they actually had done? There are two versions of every story and you can't just believe the one that the morons tell the police. There is absolutely no excuse for their behavior and don't even bother trying to rationalize it.
Oh...and did I mention my best friend is transgendered? I'm more than aware of the curiosity factor of straight men. That's all he/she sleeps with. And, yes, many of them are married and/or have girlfriends. Hell, they do 3somes a lot of the time.

The fact that you remember that about Slumdog is absolutely hilarious. THAT was offensive?!?!? I didn't judge anyone at all. I judged *A MOVIE.* There's a huge difference.

And not everyone lies about it. Do you know how many women live what's called a "stealth" life? There are transsexuals living all around you every day. Once they get an operation, they assimilate and live their lives as woman, as they should. Who are you or anyone else to judge or say that they're not who they say they are?

Obviously. Why do you think these men become women? Because they're living a lie by living as men. It's a psychological condition. Do you know how many transgenders will attempt or contemplate suicide?

Not every transgender woman is out there to seduce and lie to all of you amazingly attractive heterosexuals. You can relax.

Just like all of us homo's aren't out to do it as well. It's amazing how full of themselves straight men can be. You all ain't THAT attractive.
