They even each other out. The thing is Michael Pietrus and J.J. Redick did a lot of defensive training in the off season. And They shut Lebron and Ray Allen down in the playoffs last year. I really like our chances of making it all the way, as long as they don't play like they did tonight. Oh man, that was an ugly game. I watched the post game conference and Stan Van Gundy said it is screwing with the team, having Rashard in and then out, Vince in and out, Pietrus in and out. Still yet, we shot like crap. I really think it will be Boston and Orlando in the East and Denver and L.A. in the West. I thought it woudl be the Spurs and Lakers, and I would rather that, but they aren't looking so hot. Its just screwing with us having Rashard out, being he was the reason we beat Boston in two games and Cleveland in one game. Hedo hit a couple of late shots as well. But for everything Hedo did right, he caused that much damage earlier in the game with his turnovers.
yeah, i'm glad you got points to come back at me with. i do like lewis a great deal and think he's arguably your best player other than DH, but i really don't think nelson is anywhere near as talented offensively and defensively as rondo. but that's what seasons are for, we'll just see who is the better pg. but i'm thinking your playoff predictions are most likely, either us, or take one off and throw cleveland in, at least as of now.

Looking to adopt a team this season that won't disappoint me like the Jazz. Any suggestions that aren't the Lakers, Spurs, or Celtics?

Hahaha, so funny to see a Utah Jazz fan in this thread. The good old days of Stockton to Malone are long gone.

Go for the Magic. They are young, exciting, made the Finals last year, and can shoot the shit out of the ball. Plus they have Superman .

Isn't it about time Lebron gets one? Cheer for him, although his little ragequit last year lost him some respect points from me.

I'm trying to decide between the Suns and the Thunder. I don't want to switch right to a contender and be branded as a band wagon fan. Love the young spunk of the Thunder, and I really like seeing the Suns playing like their old selves again.

I'm thinking I'll cheer for the Thunder though...

fugg the thunder.

go for the grizz. you have an entire team just waiting to bust a cap into each other for not sharing enough touches. it'll be fascinating tv, and you can't be disappointed as you expect them to lose.

I really don't think Cleveland is going to make the finals, Shaq and Lebron area already barking at each other. And Lebron showed last year against the Magic that he couldn't do it all himself and Shaq isn't a big enough impact to change that. The Magic and Celtics increased their staters and deepened their benches.

I saw your comment about the running. Thanks. Now, it's not that Shaq isn't a great impact. He's old period. The legs are old. The guy is reaching 40. He's to busy trying to become a reserve peace officer instead focusing on his conditioning. The Magic seems to have added some muscle with Vince in Orlando. In addition, the Celtics can do a great deal with Rasheed Wallace shooting the three as a big man. Remember, he does that very well. He did it well when he was in Detroit and won a ring with them and company. Good points though.

Default LeBron To The Lakers At The End of the Season?

This is hot off the press. A sports writer, journalist, or disc jockey in Chicago has gotten word that Lebron James wants to come to Los Angeles after this season to try and win a championship. I think that this is great on his part. He really does see how Kobe was thinking with the big head and not the little head when he won two early in his career with the Lakers. It doesn't get any better than this. Oh, it just might. Kobe is the number one selling jersey in the NBA right now. It's true. Yes, I'm on the Kobe bandwagon. Somebody must have talked to Lebron and said it won't happen unless you get me a young and strong dominating center, another premier guard, and another power forward that isn't washed up like Ben Wallace. Please....Let me break down the NBA. I just want to know what do you all think about all of this. Do you think it is good to see Lebron in a Laker uniform? I think it would work out because remember that so-called dream team a couple of seasons ago where Paton and Malone were with the Lakers. The difference here is that the Lakers are much younger. The legs give better and injuries heal faster baby. Yes, Gasol is out, but Bynum is still a baby in this league picking up the slack and playing very well in Gaso's absence. Not to mention Lamar signed a nice two-year deal. This is La-La land out here baby. We might have our problems, but one thing all of you basketball fans can say is that the Lakers are a dynasty and we'll see how this all pans out at the end of this season. Mr. Buss just might jump at this acquisition and pick up his option. Hell, Kobe has nothing to worry about. I still can't believe that Kobe will be one the only NBA players in history to ever sign at least four contracts in his lifetime. That is some cheese baby. He'll retire in a couple of seasons and young King James will pick up the peaces where Kobe left off and win a couple of more rings in Los Angeles. I'm not saying this will happen, but it sure does look and feel tasty....

If Lebron goes to the Lakers I will disown him, take back every nice thing I have ever said, or thought, about him.... ever... he would be dead to me.

But thats not going to happen.

i didn't mean they'd beat you or us to go to the finals, just that they're arguably the biggest threat to us and you.
