Not so supprising, the end was coming it was well known. I'm glad she managed to produce that peice documenting her struggles with cancer, I didn't get a chance to see it but by all accounts it was very powerful. I intend to purchase it when it's availble on home video. Rest in peace Farrah.

O'Neil asked her to remarry and she said she would as soon as she could. They never had a chance though. Very sad indeed.

Ah, that's right. This is what I was remembering - per wiki:

On June 22, 2009, The Los Angeles Times and Reuters reported that Ryan O'Neal has said that Fawcett had agreed to marry him.

Shame they didn't get to seal the deal.
