Dumb ass voters who keep raising my property tax!

To expand on this thought:

The local school district here is cutting the kids activities and teachers jobs left and right. 3 times they have tried (and failed) to get our property taxes raised because they claim they are broke. Whining & crying that they had to close 2 perfectly good schools that had just recently (within the last 3 years) been 'upgraded' and remodeled, because they don't have any money. But they neglect to harp on the fact that they BUILT 2 BRAND NEW SCHOOL BUILDINGS and the fact that the location of these buildings is FARTHER away from the closed bldgs, requiring the kids get up even earlier to ride the bus even farther resulting in the buses using more fuel and paying the bus drivers more since it takes longer for all the transportation.

Pisses the hell outta me that after all this they cry they are broke. We (the tax payers) were never asked about the schools being closed/built. Fucking idiots.

I do have more important things to be mad at, but this is what's bothering me now. Ugh, my friends won't stop talking about it.

I'm growing to despise this series. I use to like it...USE to. Now, I see it as the Madden of FPS. Every year, another turd is produced, and the masses feast on its nutty "goodness".

Pfft...

I might have to replay Half Life 2 just to get this stale taste of generic gaming out of my mouth.

That I seem to miss out on every single opportunity to visit Italy.

My dad is visiting friends near Venice the coming week but doesn't want to take me with him.

I'm probably not missing out on anything worthwhile, as the place is on a lonely field, but it would be unarguably an interesting experience.

I absolutely hate my country! We get ripped off, treated like children, We get political correctness rammed down our throats, Our soldiers overseas die because our government didnt bother to supply them with descent equipment. This country has no right calling itself "Great Britain" because there is nothing great about it. our Monarchy do nothing and have no political power but our taxes fund their excessive lifestyles. the politicians are just as bad. Recently the government placed a ban on importing 100W lightbulbs due to this energy conservation nonsense that they are also feeding us everyday.

Agreed on the lightbulb part. Not so much on the other things.

The lightbulb ban is due to EU laws. So it's the fault of those d-bags at Brussels.

I have one huge problem with the lightbulb ban. Their alternative to a higher energy lightbulb are the corkscrew halogen bulbs contains mercury which in turn pollutes the ground water supply. Talk about idiocy.

Unless you are from California, most won't. That's why they get elected, to make decisions for the masses. It would be interesting if every local, state and federal decision was voted upon, as I don't think many of us would have time, read what we were voting on, let alone to work to feed ourselves.

wow, awfully politicy in here.

i hate waiting for the fed-ex truck with my goodies (twonun, yes, call of duty). other things pissing me off today? TROLLS. cold feet, not normally an issue, but pulled out an ingrown last nite, so it's sensitive enough as is. the overwhelming urge to eat, but knowing nothing will taste as good as what i want. lately food just all tastes the same to me, no real flavor or anything standing out.
