Default NFL Thread...

Ok, we had a preseason thread but considering it's kicking off for REAL now better to start one without "Preseason" in it's title...

Surprising starts! Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco are actually get the opening day start!! Matt Ryan I can understand, but Baltimore's Flacco has looked every bit the 3rd string... with Kyle Boller out with a shoulder injury and Troy Smith out for a 3rd week with a stomach virus, that only leaves Flacco... what happens if HE goes down?? Any recievers know how to throw the ball?

I really wish the Bears would've gotten rid of Rex Grossman in the off season for a real quarterback. With one of the best defensive lines in the game, this team could be great. But with no Offensive line to protect the QB and a shit QB to boot, this team is headed for bad news....again!

Same here with Baltimore... my only hope now is if other teams can't score, they can't win.. It's a Defensive Game for us.

He looked absolutely BRUTAL against the 3rd-string Defenses he faced in the first couple games... it was so bad he looked like a guy they pulled out of the stands that won the "Be an NFL Quarterback for a Day" challenge. Running for his life and getting sacked and looking around like "Please God, someone tell me what a quarterback does". In his defense, the next couple games looked a LOT better... he's still very stiff and a little slow, but when he locates a reciever and fires the ball to them I've never seen a ball hit a reciever FASTER then from Flacco... he's got an arm that's unreal. He could probably put a Ref unconscience if he hit him accidentally.

We'll see how he does.. (they dont have a choice right now.. they're warming up Harrington and Chris Simms as an emergency backup if needed) Matt Ryan I imagine had a much better showing... being as you guys had Redman (our old experiment) I can imagine he'd be the best choice for Atlanta also.

I'm calling the Cowboys and the Patriots to reach the Superbowl this year.

The last I heard they were together. If I was Romo, I would move on. Isn't he still in his late 20's?? Plenty of time for him to date super models and have children with them. *cough* Tom Brady *cough*

Seriously Jessica and her father are a scurge by themselves alone, much less to a prospective allstar of a quarterback with a decent income.

I hope your right, that would be a great game. The Pats stunk up the preseason and we still don't know exactly what is wrong with Brady. I am sure he will suck it up and play because even though I hate to say it the Pats are not close to the same team without him. Go Pats......
