It's been out for quite awhile now, atleast a couple months. Just be careful, some people were having lots of problems. I did a fresh install, so it went smoothly, just do some research before updating!

No offense guys...but whenever I use/see XP I just feel like I am using a completely outdated OS. I guess it's over 7 years old....I was 12/13 at the point it came out.

I'm with you on that Teeth, unfortunately my boss is making me run Vista at work. It's a terrible O/S that I think will go in the history books as one of the worst O/S along with Windows ME.

I have Vista on 2 home machines and a work laptop and love it. Only a few issues but that is expected with any new OS. XP was the same way when it came out, everyone wanted to stick with 2000. XP has had 7 years to work out all of its bugs.
