Default 3 actors give salaries to Heath Ledgers Daughter.

I thought this was really generous of them.

Quote:
The late Heath Ledger's daughter Matilda was spotted skipping along the streets of NYC yesterday with her mom Michelle Williams in the cutest pink sundress. Every time I see a photo of the 2-year-old I can't believe how much she looks like her dad. He definitely lives on through her.

As most of you probably know, Heath was filming Terry Gilliam's "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus" at the time of his death. Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell stepped in to complete Heath's role, playing different versions of his character "Tim."

When the three actors learned that Ledger's will had not been updated to include his daughter, the generous trio decided to donate all the money they earned from the film to little Matilda!

It's good to know that there are a few nice guys in Hollywood.

This is sweet, but kinda stupid. How about giving your money to someone who won't already grow up a multi millionaire?

That's like 95% of girls these days including myself. Now imagine if she had to do that and it was all because her father didn't want to be responsible and now her mom has to work two jobs to support them both. I would say someone like her could use it more.

Sure she could... we all could use handouts. Doesn't mean you have the right to tell them who they should give their hard earned money to. I would hope you would help Family and Friends before giving handouts to complete Strangers.

They can do whatever they want with their money. I just think it'd be nice to give that kind of money to kids who need it. I'd rather help someone in need. Key word: need.

It is called CHARITY and many actors and entertainers contribute to charities because they want to. Anyone can contribute to a charity if they wish, you can too if you want.

Er... What? 95% of girls are raised without their father? Did I misunderstand something?

That was an exaggeration. I knew someone would ask about that. 98% is probably a bit more accurate.

I need to pay my gas, electric, cable, car and apt bills. Care to donate to the cause? My son and I would benefit from it. I'll PM you my PayPal info.
