Default Trying To Find V For Vendetta 2-Disc w/ Mask (SDVD)

I've been searching for this for a short bit again, have decided I finally want it as a collectors item. Kicking myself for passing it up in store on release, and passing it up again when I saw one single copy show back up at Best Buy about six months ago. Does anybody know where this can be found at a good price point. I don't want to pay more than 30 for it, and I want it sealed (collector's reasons) or as far mint as possible. Thanks ahead for the help, if anybody knows where one's at.

They have some used ones on AMZ starting at $34.99 + $2.98 shipping. Don't know how much your willing to pay for it though. I wouldn't mind having the mask, but I already have the Blu, had the HD, and I have a special edition that has a 3-D lenticular slip cover and a 64 page V for Vendetta graphic novel.

Oh I see your price point now. I could suggest looking at a Sam's Club. I don't know how much they retail for, but Sam's, at least the one near us, usually has stuff that has been out for a while. Then they have stuff out that hasn't came out yet.

Is the mask a full sized one ? I would be interested in getting a full sized mask but already have the BD and had the HD.

The mask is a miniature version.

I would say go with the Amazon seller. It's going to be your best bet.

Nate #1-

I had this set. it's kinda mediocre. my local best buy, last i saw, had one, but they're back at the 34.99 price point. so figure that plus tax, plus shipping, it's really not a good priced item. the mask is cheap as shit, it's just a really nice box, and the art cards are just the posters. still, neat for collectors purposes.

and randell, this item was best buy exclusive, so sam's club is a no go. just best buy or online used retailers, like amazon/ebay.

I don't want to pay that much for a used one is the issue. No telling how great a condition it would be in.

Understood. But here's what the seller says.

Discs and inserts are all like new, outter box shows some light shelf and use wear, but nothing serious. Ships media mail, Expedited ships Priority Mail.
Doesn't say nothing abut the mask.

Haha just found one on Half.com for $33 http://product.half.ebay.com/V-For-V...QQtgZvidetails

lol Randell, I originally had that lenticular one too. I ended up getting the mask edition a few months later after it showed up again on BB's site for like $29.99. I ended up selling the lenticular, the two disc that comes with the mask and my HD DVD copy. I just have the box with mask and the BD edition.

They offer real (yet cheaply made) masks all over the internet. They are just your typical plastic masks with a string (rubber band type thing) to go around the back of the head.

There's always the $900 movie replica edition on eBay, only 500 made:

Quote:
This limited edition, hand-painted cold-cast porcelain replica measures approximately 10.5" high x 6.5" wide x 7" deep and is displayed on a sculpted base. This replica was constructed from a mold of the actual movie prop, includes a full-color Certificate of Authenticity, and is packaged in an elegant black gift box with foil stamping. Limited edition of 500.

It just seems funny that they didnt make something to sell somewhere in the middle ground. A $30 mask made of high quality plastic or PVC or something. There were hundreds in the movie, where did all they go, what were they made of ?
