I love watching preseason football just as much as reg. season, you get to see all the new talent and just get stoked to see what the depth chart looks like going into reg.
Anyways, who is everyone excited about seeing from their (or others) team??? I'm personally stoked to see how the Seahawk running core will workout this year; we've got HUGE TJ Duckett for the short yardage, JJ can hopefully get into the longer runs, along with Leonard Weaver and Mo Morris. And hopefully John Carlson will be able to take over the TE position and become a great rookie threat. I'm also excited to see Seneca Wallace play today ...If you don't know who he is, he is the 2nd/3rd string QB for us, but an AMAZING athlete. We can put him out as the WR or maybe a little flick throw...just the tits. But I truely can't wait for Hasselbeck to be healthy again .KICKOFF TIME!

Only caught a small bit of the Browns game due to the rain delay. Tried to catch some highlights but my ESPN channel is still up Favre's @$$

I'm a huge Jags fan, living in an ocean of Skins and Ravens...I can't wait until football starts every year, pre-season included. Can't have a dish where I live, so I'm really hating not being able to completely keep up with the Jags like I have in the past, but it has led to a great relationship with a few bartenders at the sports pub every fall and winter...
Anyone do Fantasy Football? First time trying it last year, and it was fun as hell. Made it to the playoffs and got torched. I'm hoping Maurice Jones Drew has a great year, Matt Jones earns his money, Freddy T keeps the old wheels churning and David Garrard stays healthy and keeps up the good work he did from last year...Very respectable year, in my opinion, for getting the start over Leftwich just prior to regular season beginning. Defense should still be good, enough to keep me pumping my fists in the air and keeping my fantasy numbers high at the same time! |

Watched the Ravens-Patriots game.. was completely embarrased by how "Lost" Joe Flacco looked... he looked like someone from the stands that won some kind of "Experience the NFL" contest for two series... (lets pull this guy out of the stands and see him run for his life like he never touched a football before) if he's the future I hope it doesn't come around for another 3 years minimum...
To be fair though, the score shoulda been a lot higher, but Belichick ran Lamont Jordan against the Raven's 4th-string D the whole 4th Quarter... and STILL lost. Cripes... I had Lamont Jordan on my Fantasy Team last year!.. 4th Quarter Preseason is for the rookies, not the established Pro's to try and pull off a Pre-season game. Can't help it... Belichick will always be a scumbag in my oppinion. |
