Have any of you re-watched the fight w/o sound and buy into this Machida won round 1,2,3 crap. Its sad when you have to remote to turn off the sound crap.....go by your first instinct and mine told me Shogun won this easily and should be the LHW champ.

I think Marcus will win 1 for Rampage. I'm irritated Dana touted the crap out of Kimbo for a big ole loss. I wanted Sho gun to win that one, but had Machida picked to win.

So i finally have gotten caught up on the fights I have been missing... My DVR was nearly full of cage fighting. This season of TUF sucks, these guys get tired after 2 minutes and the the second round (if it goes that far is terrible). That Matt Mitrione guy is a d-bag and I hope he doesn't win any more fights. Didn't he go to Purdue? Shogun was robbed, machida drinks his own urine and ben rothwell just got flat out destroyed. Dream 12 was boring as fuck, overeem choked out that fool in 30 seconds that Kimbo beat.... but Fedor does fight this weekend so that's something to look forward to.

what did I miss?????

Oh yeah, the Carwin/Lesnar fight being pulled because Lesnar has the flu was dissapointing but it's still going to be epic.

He went full on roid rage on his training partner.... that was somewhat interesting. That guy is unbalanced. They need to get these guys some cardio training because I don't see anyone in this competition who would be able to hang with very many of the current heavys already in the UFC.

any one have any idea what could happen to Strikeforce if Fedor just happens to lose tomorrow? They've invested a lot of money into him. If he loses they stand to lose a whole bunch of money. I don't see strikeforce folding up like elitexc or affliction, but it will seriously put a huge dent in their marketability. The whole reason people are watching tomorrow is because Fedor, if they see him lose they won't even think twice about not watching the next event that strikeforce has.

Just a thought.....

Also, I don't think Fedor will lose, it was just something interesting I was thinking about.

Would be a crushing blow if he loses. Seems like they haven't really been marketing him very much though. Maybe you've seen it, but I havent really seen any commercials or propaganda on him/strikeforce for tomorrow night. Still seems like the only people aware of him are people that already are in the know.

Anyways - I'm expecting him to win. One crushing blow from Brett can certainly be a game changer and he definitely has a chance to knock his ass out. I think Brett may be in a bad position as far as style is concerned, because he may get wrapped up and submitted if he comes out swinging for the fences, but then if Brett slows the pace down and tries to be patient, I think Fedor is just to skilled to miss an opportunity to capitalize on a mistake that someone with the little amount of experience Brett has will make. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I'm one of those guys that understand that on any given day, anyone can win..And winning one match, especially by something like a knockout from a wild blow, doesn't necessarily mean you are the better fighter. Now, if you can take two wins or two out of three, then it's an easy call on who is better.

I like Fedor's chances in the fight, but Brett Rogers did b-slap Andre Arloski. Really excited about it. I was impressed by Rashard as a coach, at the beginning of the show I didn't like him. He seemed really different on the show.

Brett Rodgers changed my tires 2 years back at Sam's Club here. 2 weeks later I saw him fighting on CBS to my suprise. 2 years laters he's being hyped as the next big thing. It's funny because at the time I had no clue who the dude was, but he was fucking intense....like he wanted to bash my head in with a tire iron.

Thats the exact opposite of what I expected. He was on ESPN Friday during Sports Nation and seemed really down to earth.
