What's embarrasing for me is sometimes a top 25 can even surprise ourselves.. I put my ipod on "random" most of the time and skip through tunes if I'm not in the mood to listen to them (Heavy Metal and such) so sometimes your top 25 can have mellow tunes that arn't necessarrily your favorite songs but those you could listen to anytime of the day. So it's like "Oh shit! How did Abba get into my 25???"

Just in case anyone is curious, here are albums released this year that have played the most on my music player.

Radiohead - In Rainbows
The Mars Volta - The Bedlam In Goliath
Horrorpops - Kiss Kiss Kill Kill
Paint It Black - Lexicon
Time Again - Darker Days
Pennywise - Reason To Believe
Raconteurs - Consolers of the Lonely
Flight Of The Conchords - S/T
New Found Glory/Intl. Superheroes of Hardcore - Tip of the Iceberg/Takin' It Ova!
Foxburo Hot Tubs - Stop Drop And Roll
H2O - Nothing To Prove
The Black Keys - Attack And Release

I would recommend these albums to most anyone.

What about you? Is there anything released this year that you would recommend to someone?

Happy 4th btw!

I'm currently listening to Tim Barry (Tim Barry live at Ms. Kieslers 2nd Grade Class).

You can download the set for free here.

I have heard it, but don't own it. I own a couple of Against Me albums on vinyl, but the only cd I own of them is "Searching For...". Great band though, absolutely love them. And the name of their songs are fantastic as well.

I just listened to Pig Destroyer's "Prowler in the Yard" disc for the 9,245,433rd time.

It is the best grindcore disc ever recorded.
